We often get asked very early on by prospective clients “How much does NetSuite cost?”, but this can be difficult to answer without us understanding your business. Here, we explore what the contributing factors are.

How much does NetSuite cost?

To begin with, a typical NetSuite implementation comprises of a collection of different costs depending upon your exact requirements. The actual cost of NetSuite is just one of the components of a successful implementation of a NetSuite system, as we will explain.

At the start of a NetSuite implementation, we undertake a consultancy stage which will allow us to understand the nature of your business, its unique requirements, and the challenges that it faces. This stage allows us to fully understand your requirements and provide you with a business requirements document. As part of that BRD, we will make a recommendation on the specification of NetSuite for your business.

Netsuite's pricing can vary based on factors such as the edition that you require, the number of users in the business, the modules that we recommend based on your use case, and the level of customisation that may be needed to ensure the system matches your unique business process. NetSuite’s pricing is based on a subscription model and typically ranges from a few hundred to several thousand pounds per month.

The implementation stage of the project will also attract a one-off cost and will comprise of installing the appropriate version of NetSuite, implementing the recommended modules, and undertaking the customisations to fit NetSuite to your business model. Often, NetSuite will need to ‘talk’ to third party or legacy applications, so we may also need to develop connectors to enable this.

The final part of the cost of NetSuite which must be considered is the aftercare support requirements of your business. This will typically include your onboarding and training requirements, ongoing technical support and, where a business seeks to accelerate its growth, a level of ongoing consultancy and development which allows us to evolve and grow your NetSuite system as the needs and growth strategy of your business makes different demands on the system.

We have compiled a table of elements that need to be considered to arrive at a NetSuite cost, which may help with NetSuite project budgeting. However, as with any tailored solution please contact us for more information and to discuss your unique requirements.
